Dubai Chambers Hosts Roundtables In New York To Enhance Investment Opportunities Between Dubai And The United States

Dubai Chambers recently hosted two roundtables in New York to enhance collaboration between investors from Dubai and the United States. These discussions were part of the Dubai Business Forum – USA, which took place in New York. The sessions highlighted Dubai's strategic advantages for American companies aiming to expand into rapidly growing markets in Africa and Asia.

The event attracted 40 investors and senior business leaders from both regions. It underscored the significant growth opportunities and partnership potential that Dubai offers to international investors. Key priorities of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) were also emphasised during these discussions.

Dubai Chambers Strengthens US-Dubai Investment Ties

Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, highlighted Dubai's influential role in the global economy. He attributed this to a forward-thinking government vision and an integrated ecosystem that combines agile economic policies with advanced infrastructure. This environment fosters innovation and sustainable growth.

Al Mansoori encouraged investors to leverage Dubai’s unique competitive advantages as a strategic platform for expanding into high-potential global markets. He reiterated Dubai Chambers' commitment to supporting American companies in establishing and scaling their operations in the emirate over the long term.

The discussions explored promising sectors for investment cooperation between Dubai and US business communities. These sectors include artificial intelligence, digital economy, energy, logistics, agriculture, agritech, tourism, hospitality, real estate, financial services, and education.

Participants examined how Dubai’s economic policies, regulatory framework, and advanced infrastructure facilitate cross-border partnerships. They also discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral investment through strategic alliances and joint investment vehicles in high-potential sectors.

Boosting Investor Confidence

The session stressed the importance of strengthening investor confidence through regulatory alignment. It also highlighted the role of institutional investors and specialised venture capital and private equity investors in financing high-growth industries.
