Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, has announced its support for 308 promising digital startups in the first half of 2025. This marks a 39% increase compared to the same period last year when 221 companies were assisted. The chamber's efforts aim to bolster Dubai's position as a global hub for digital enterprises.
Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, stated, "We are committed to developing an integrated digital business environment that provides the foundations for success for talents and digital companies, and supports their expansion from Dubai to global markets. We continue our efforts to enhance Dubai’s attractiveness as a global hub for digital companies, entrepreneurs, and technology investors by strengthening the digital infrastructure, enhancing the legislative and regulatory environment, and creating an ecosystem that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship."

Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of the chamber, highlighted their dedication to nurturing tech company growth in Dubai. He mentioned organising 10 events in the first half of this year aimed at fostering partnerships within the digital economy sectors. Additionally, 15 international roadshows were conducted to showcase Dubai’s advanced digital business ecosystem.
The roadshows included presentations on Dubai’s competitive advantages and comprehensive support for digital startups aiming to expand into the emirate. These events also featured pitch competitions where winners received fully sponsored opportunities to participate in Expand North Star 2025.
Scheduled for October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the chamber, Expand North Star will unite leading startups, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and digital leaders. This event aims to explore growth opportunities in Dubai and contribute to shaping the future of the digital economy.
Additional competitions during these roadshows offered participants a chance to qualify for the Supernova Challenge's final stage. This is recognised as the region’s largest startup pitch competition and will be part of the exhibition.
The chamber's initiatives reflect its commitment to creating a thriving environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. By enhancing infrastructure and regulatory frameworks, it aims to attract global tech talent and investment.
