Dubai Chamber Of Digital Economy Unveils Comprehensive Startup Guide For Entrepreneurs In Dubai

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, has unveiled the Dubai Startup Guide. This handbook aids entrepreneurs and startups in establishing their businesses in Dubai. It provides a detailed overview of the startup ecosystem, including legal requirements, business setup options, and funding opportunities. The guide also lists key entities that support startups and offers information on accelerators, incubators, sandboxes, and free zones in Dubai.

Expand North Star 2024 is set to be the world's largest gathering for startups and investors. Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the chamber, it will take place at Dubai Harbour from Sunday until 16th October. The event aims to connect founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and corporate innovators to explore growth opportunities in Dubai's digital economy.

The guide includes sector-specific guidelines for setting up startups across ten areas of the digital economy. These sectors include artificial intelligence, 3D printing, cybersecurity, digital assets, fintech, edtech, gaming, healthtech, software/SaaS, and the metaverse/Web3. Each sector's details cover specialised free zones, accelerators, incubators, sandboxes, events, and regulations.

This comprehensive guide is designed to assist both local and international startups in navigating Dubai's business landscape. The number of vetted invite-only investors expected at this year's Expand North Star is projected to reach around 1,200.
