Dubai Chamber Of Digital Economy Discusses Strategies To Strengthen The Emirate’s Digital Landscape

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of the Dubai Chambers group, recently convened its Advisory Council's annual meeting. The gathering focused on reviewing the chamber's initiatives, accomplishments, and future strategies. Discussions centred on enhancing the chamber's role in achieving the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) goals, which aim to generate an average of AED100 billion annually for Dubai's economy through digital transformation projects.

Participants at the meeting highlighted the importance of the Advisory Council in advancing Dubai’s status as a global digital economy leader. They discussed creating a supportive environment for digital businesses to grow and expand from Dubai. The council also explored ways to improve advocacy effectiveness and attract investors and digital companies to strengthen Dubai’s digital economy ecosystem.

Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, commented on the meeting outcomes. He stated, "Driven by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, we are committed to ramping up efforts to make Dubai even more attractive to entrepreneurs and top tech talent in advanced technology and AI."
