Dubai Chamber Of Commerce Organises Trade Mission To Angola And Mozambique From 21st To 25th April
Dubai Chamber of Commerce, part of Dubai Chambers, is set to embark on a trade mission to Angola and Mozambique from 21st to 25th April. This mission is under the "New Horizons" programme, which aims to help Dubai-based companies expand internationally by accessing promising global markets.
The chamber recently conducted a virtual pre-mission briefing for the delegation members. Representatives from various sectors such as agriculture, construction, electronics, energy, and more attended. The briefing outlined the mission's agenda, including bilateral business meetings and networking sessions with companies in Angola and Mozambique.

The "New Horizons" initiative is part of the chamber's strategy to promote international growth for Dubai-based businesses. It aligns with the 'Dubai Global' initiative, which encourages local companies to explore new business opportunities in 30 priority markets worldwide.
Last year, the chamber organised successful trade missions to countries like Indonesia, Vietnam, Senegal, Morocco, Serbia, Türkiye, Uganda, and Tanzania. These missions facilitated over 2,227 B2B meetings between participating companies and their counterparts in these regions.
The delegation includes representatives from diverse sectors such as FMCG trading; food and beverages; information technology; manufacturing; maritime services; metallurgical industries; real estate; retail; and logistics. This diversity highlights the wide range of interests Dubai-based companies have in expanding their global footprint.
The upcoming mission is expected to open up rewarding opportunities for these businesses in Angola and Mozambique. By engaging with local companies through structured meetings and networking events, participants aim to establish valuable connections that could lead to fruitful collaborations.
This strategic approach not only supports individual company growth but also strengthens Dubai's position as a hub for international trade. The chamber's efforts are crucial in helping local businesses capitalise on new market opportunities while contributing to the broader economic development goals of Dubai.
