Dubai Chamber Of Commerce Highlights Expansion Opportunities For Local Companies In Caucasus And Southeast Asia Regions

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce recently held an 'In Focus' session, offering insights to local companies on expanding into Armenia, Georgia, Malaysia, and Cambodia. The event featured key figures such as Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, and ambassadors from the respective countries. Over 160 participants attended to learn about trade opportunities and strategies for sustainable growth in these markets.

Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, stated, "We remain committed to empowering the local business community to capitalise on promising opportunities in global markets and achieve sustainable growth and expansion by leveraging Dubai’s unique strengths as an international business hub. In doing so, we contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector and accelerating the growth of the emirate’s non-oil foreign trade."

Expansion Opportunities for Dubai Companies Abroad

The session included a presentation detailing how the Dubai Chamber of Commerce aids local companies in their international expansion efforts. It highlighted business prospects in Armenia, Georgia, Malaysia, and Cambodia. Following this was a panel discussion that delved into the trade and investment climates of these nations.

The 'In Focus' sessions are crafted to deliver comprehensive market intelligence and customised advice for companies at various stages of their global expansion journey. They provide timely insights into markets, practical guidance on setting up businesses abroad, and advice on forming strategic partnerships in target countries.

These sessions act as a precursor to the chamber's 'New Horizons' initiative. This program allows Dubai-based firms to join selected trade missions and networking events in priority markets. The aim is to explore investment opportunities and forge strategic business alliances.

The event underscored key trade and investment opportunities while discussing market entry processes. It also shared effective strategies for achieving sustainable growth in Armenia, Georgia, Malaysia, and Cambodia.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce is one of three chambers under Dubai Chambers. It plays a crucial role in supporting local businesses by providing them with insights into global market opportunities.

This initiative aligns with Dubai's goal to enhance its position as an international business hub. By facilitating access to new markets, it aims to boost the competitiveness of its private sector.
