Dubai Chambers Set To Host First International Dubai Business Forum In Beijing
Dubai Chambers is set to mark a significant milestone with the organization of the Dubai Business Forum – China in Beijing, scheduled for 21st to 22nd August this year. This initiative represents the first international edition of the forum, aiming to spotlight the lucrative opportunities ushered in by the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). The forum is part of a broader strategy to foster foreign direct investment, bolster the objectives of D33, and reinforce Dubai's status as a premier global business hub.
The forthcoming event in Beijing is designed to unveil the myriad investment prospects within Dubai, drawing multinational corporations and rapidly evolving startups from China. It seeks to facilitate meaningful collaborations between Chinese investors and their Dubai counterparts, thereby enhancing bilateral trade and investment flows. The agenda will cover pivotal sectors such as the digital economy, healthcare, finance, retail, tourism, travel, and real estate through various sessions and panel discussions.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, highlighted Dubai's global recognition as a fertile ground for opportunities and partnerships. "Dubai continues to solidify its appeal for international investments with its competitive advantages, global connections, and a business-friendly environment conducive to growth," he stated. The choice of China for the forum's first international edition underscores the significant economic ties and mutual growth ambitions shared between Dubai and China.
The Dubai Business Forum – China aims to serve as a dynamic platform for fostering economic partnerships, expanding business networks, and uncovering new investment avenues. It builds on the success of the inaugural Dubai Business Forum held in November 2023, which saw over 2,000 leaders and experts converge to discuss future business trends.
This event not only aims to achieve Dubai Chambers' goals of stimulating economic partnerships and developing trade relations but also seeks to explore new business territories between Dubai and promising global markets. The Beijing forum is poised to replicate the success of its predecessor by bringing together key figures from both public and private sectors to chart the future of international business and investment.
