Dubai Airshow Highlights UAE’s Vision For Future Aviation And Global Partnerships
The Dubai Airshow exemplifies the UAE's forward-thinking vision, as stated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This event highlights the nation's commitment to becoming a global leader in aviation, space, and defence innovation. Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that the UAE's global engagement is driven by a desire to forge partnerships and develop solutions that benefit humanity and promote sustainable growth across various sectors. He noted: "Over the years, Dubai Airshow has established itself as one of the world’s leading aerospace and technology platforms, recording an ever-expanding turnout and attracting major international companies and organisations. It has become a preferred destination for unveiling the latest innovations and technologies, and an open laboratory for advancing ideas that are redefining the future of vital industries."

The 19th edition of this global aviation showcase is held under Sheikh Mohammed's patronage until November 21. It features trends, innovations, and outcomes from the industry, including developments in airport infrastructure and new technological advancements. This event solidifies its status as a pivotal gathering for the aviation sector.
This year's airshow is the largest yet, with over 1,500 exhibitors participating. Among them are 440 first-time exhibitors. The event also welcomes 148,000 visitors and 490 civil and military delegations from 115 countries. Notably, Morocco is making its debut among the 21 national pavilions present.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the exhibition reflects the UAE's dedication to building an integrated aviation system. It also underscores its role as a trusted partner in developing innovative defence solutions while supporting the knowledge economy. The UAE believes investing in science and technology is crucial for securing nations' futures.
The airshow includes 98 chalets, 120 startups, 50 investors, and spans an exhibition area of 8,000 square meters. This setup provides ample space for showcasing cutting-edge technologies and fostering collaboration among industry leaders.
