Dubai Airports Implements Comprehensive Plan To Support Pilgrims During Hajj 2025
Dubai Airports has initiated a comprehensive operational strategy at Dubai International (DXB) for the Hajj 2025 season. This plan aims to ensure a smooth experience for pilgrims during this busy period. Approximately 3,100 pilgrims will depart from DXB on 28 flights operated by Emirates, flydubai, Saudia, and flynas.
The airport has set up dedicated check-in counters across Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Prayer rooms and changing facilities are available in all terminals for Ihram preparation. Multilingual Guest Experience Ambassadors and Hajj Committee support desks are also present to assist travelers. Special baggage carousels have been designated for handling Zamzam water securely.

The first official Hajj flight will leave from Terminal 3 on 1st June with the Government of Dubai's delegation. Pilgrims are advised to arrive at least four hours before departure with all necessary documents, including passport, Emirates ID, Hajj permit, and vaccination certificate.
Dubai Airports is working closely with the oneDXB community to streamline operations. This includes collaboration with Dubai Police, General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA), Dubai Customs, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, dnata, and airline partners.
Essa Al Shamsi, Senior Vice President of Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports, stated: "Through the efforts of our people and the oneDXB community, we want to ensure every pilgrim departs with confidence and returns with ease."
Return Preparations Amid Busy Season
Pilgrims are expected to return between 9th and 12th June. The airport has prepared to offer a warm welcome back with coordinated baggage support and small tokens of appreciation upon arrival. The Hajj season coincides with the summer travel peak and Eid Al Adha holiday when DXB expects increased guest volumes.
