Salik E-Wallet Will Streamline Parking At DXB, Says Dubai Airports CEO
Drivers using Dubai International’s car parks will soon be able to pay fees directly from Salik accounts, after the launch of Salik’s E-Wallet across 7,400 paid parking spaces at DXB from 22nd January, covering all main terminals and the Cargo Mega Terminal.
The 10-year agreement links Salik, Dubai’s exclusive toll-gate operator, with Dubai Airports, which runs Dubai International (DXB), the world’s busiest international airport. The move aims to make entry and exit smoother for motorists and reduce congestion around key passenger facilities.

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, attended the signing alongside Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salik, highlighting institutional support for the collaboration.
The agreement was formally signed by Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer of Salik, and Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports, with senior representatives from both organisations present. Their memorandum of understanding covers technology integration, operations, and support for the new cashless parking payment option.
Under the MoU, Salik will integrate the Salik E-Wallet System with the current car park management platforms operated by Dubai Airports’ appointed car park concessionaire. This link allows visitors to settle parking charges through Salik E-Wallet accounts, cutting the need for separate payment channels and helping traffic move more smoothly at exits.
Commenting on the agreement, Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer of Salik, said, "By integrating Salik’s E-Wallet at DXB, we are delivering a seamless, efficient experience for road users and advancing state-of-the-art mobility solutions for the emirate." Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports, said, "Our collaboration with Salik introduces a fast, reliable and widely adopted digital payment option that simplifies parking, reduces queuing at exits, and supports our long-term vision for seamless access across our car parks."
Once fully in place, Salik’s E-Wallet will be accepted at every paid parking area managed under the agreement at Dubai International, including Terminals 1, 2, 3 and the Cargo Mega Terminal, giving residents, visitors and airport staff a single, familiar digital method for both tolls and parking fees.
