Dubai AI Week 2025 Expands Agenda With Global Events On Education Quality And Health Innovations

The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) are set to host two significant events during the inaugural Dubai AI Week. This initiative, guided by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will run from 21-25 April 2025. The new events include the 8th International Conference on Education Quality and the HIMSS Executive Summit 2025, aiming to boost collaboration between public and private sectors in AI advancements.

Dubai AI Week is expected to draw a diverse audience of global thought leaders, experts, and AI professionals. Senior representatives from leading organisations specialising in AI will also participate. The main activities are scheduled at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 at Emirates Towers. These events underscore DFF's commitment to showcasing practical AI applications across various sectors.

Dubai AI Week 2025 Focuses on Education and Health

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, together with the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship, is organising the eighth edition of the International Conference on Quality in Education. This event will be held under the theme: "Artificial Intelligence Innovations: Future Visions in Empowering Public Institutions and Enhancing Education Quality." It aims to promote research initiatives in technology and AI while supporting educational capabilities globally.

The conference will take place at the Grand Hyatt Dubai and the headquarters of the General Directorate from April 22 to 24. It seeks to explore cutting-edge applications that empower public institutions and enhance educational systems. Over 200 research papers will be presented, alongside panel discussions with international companies.

The HIMSS Executive Summit 2025 is another highlight of Dubai AI Week. Organised by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), with support from the Dubai Health Authority and Emirates Health Services, it will occur on April 23 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. This health-tech event offers an exclusive opportunity to connect and learn about technological shifts in Middle East healthcare.

This year's summit agenda focuses on generative AI, genomics, precision medicine, and digital transformations. Ronan O’Connor, Managing Director of HIMSS EMEA, stated, "The HIMSS Executive Summit is honoured to be a partner event of Dubai AI Week." He emphasised that regional government leaders and hospital experts will share insights on how AI is transforming healthcare.

Comprehensive Agenda for AI Week

Dubai AI Week features a comprehensive agenda including events like the AI Retreat, Dubai Assembly for AI, Global Prompt Engineering Championship, Machines Can See Summit, Dubai AI Festival, Hackathon, and AI Week in Schools. These activities highlight opportunities for artificial intelligence across key sectors such as government regulation, global industry leadership, future-driven talent development, startups investment opportunities, tech innovation, student engagement, and educational advancement.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri commented on UAE's commitment to strengthening efforts in developing artificial intelligence innovations. He said this aligns with leadership's vision for a sustainable future through AI integration into education as a national priority. "Through the Artificial Intelligence Innovations Conference," he noted their dedication to supporting education systems via innovation.

Dubai aims to become a global knowledge hub through strategic partnerships showcased during these events. The conference agenda reflects this ambition by featuring panel discussions with leading international companies while signing strategic agreements alongside launching an AI Innovation Lab.

Dubai AI Week exemplifies Dubai’s vision for harnessing artificial intelligence according to its Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence strategy.
