Dubai's Ambitious 10X Initiative Enters Third Phase To Enhance City Life

Under the auspices of the Dubai 10X initiative's third phase, key government entities in Dubai convened to deliberate on the advancement of projects aimed at elevating the quality of life for both residents and visitors. These projects focus on enhancing intra-emirate travel and boosting community health. The recent approval for this phase was granted by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF).

The meeting, hosted by DFF, saw discussions on project implementation strategies in collaboration with various stakeholders. Additionally, mechanisms to expedite these projects were identified. Among the attendees were representatives from The Executive Council of Dubai, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, the Community Development Authority in Dubai, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Police, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, Dubai Airports, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, DFF, Emirates Airlines, and Etisalat.

Mattar Al Tayer highlighted that the Dubai 10X initiative is a reflection of the leadership's vision for pioneering achievements and symbolizes cooperation among government entities in Dubai. This initiative aligns with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision for government work development and positioning Dubai as a leading global city.

Awad Saghir Al Ketbi emphasized that this vision has established a new way of thinking leading to exceptional government performance. The initiative positions Dubai among the world’s best and most future-ready cities, including in health sectors.

Suzan Al Anani expressed gratitude for the leadership's support which has transformed visions into realities, paving the way for a future filled with new horizons. Khalfan Belhoul echoed this sentiment, stating that the initiative fosters innovation within government work to develop vital sectors and enhance quality of life.

The Dubai 10X initiative, launched in 2017, has been instrumental in creating influential projects that have improved government services and addressed various challenges. It has bolstered Dubai’s global standing as an exporter of innovative government models and methods. Furthermore, it encourages government entities to share experiences, skills, and resources.
