DP World Extends Title Partnership With DP World Tour Through 2035 To Enhance Global Golf Growth

DP World and the DP World Tour have extended their partnership, aiming to enhance the global presence of golf. This new agreement, the largest in the Tour's history, ensures DP World remains Title Partner and Official Logistics Partner until 2035. The collaboration began in 2022, leading to the European Tour's rebranding as the DP World Tour.

The initial phase of this partnership focused on increasing global awareness of the DP World brand. Guy Kinnings, CEO of the DP World Tour, stated, "The first stage of our landmark Title Partner relationship has been focused on raising awareness globally of the DP World brand and building a strong pipeline of new business leads for their sector-leading services. Over the past four years, that has been a tremendous success."

DP World Renews Partnership with DP World Tour

The renewed agreement will see DP World continue as Title Partner for the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai until 2035. This event is part of the Rolex Series where the Race to Dubai Champion is crowned. Additionally, DP World will become an Official Partner for 15 more tournaments each season.

This expanded role provides more opportunities to engage with fans and communities across key markets. The partnership aims to make golf more inclusive and sustainable through various initiatives.

Yuvraj Narayan, Group Deputy CEO & Chief Financial Officer of DP World, expressed their commitment: "Our partnership with the DP World Tour reflects how sport can connect markets and communities, just as we do through global trade. This long-term investment demonstrates our belief in the Tour’s future and our commitment to making golf more inclusive and sustainable."

The collaboration also focuses on making golf accessible worldwide. Through initiatives like Second Life and Clubhouse programmes, DP World repurposes golf equipment and shipping containers into grassroots facilities.

Future Plans for Growth

The DP World India Championship will return in 2026, aiming to become a regular event on the Tour calendar. This move highlights a shared vision to expand golf's reach in emerging markets like India.

Both organisations are committed to growing golf's fan base and enhancing its global appeal. The renewed partnership underscores their dedication to fostering community engagement through sport.

Guy Kinnings added that this integrated partnership will deepen over time: "The partnership has also evolved and will see DP World continue to become an integral cog in delivering our global tournament schedule, utilising their supply chain expertise."

This collaboration not only strengthens their relationship but also supports golf's growth by increasing accessibility and inclusivity worldwide.
