DP World Renews Sponsorship Of DUBAI GAMES Until 2028 To Enhance Dubai's Sports Landscape

The Organising Committee of DUBAI GAMES has renewed its partnership with DP World. This agreement, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, extends DP World's sponsorship until 2028. The announcement coincides with the event's growth, as it prepares for its sixth edition on 20 February 2025.

Abdulla bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC, expressed pride in continuing the partnership. Together, we aim to enhance Dubai’s vibrant cultural and sporting landscape, uniting in the spirit of friendly competition to celebrate the remarkable achievements made possible through collaboration."

The upcoming edition will feature over 240 teams competing in various categories like Battle of the Government (Men and Women), Battle of the Community, Battle of the Cities, and Battle of the Juniors. The total prize pool is over AED3.1 million.

DUBAI GAMES 2025 will begin with qualifiers for the Battle of the Community on 1 February at DAMAC Hills 2. The Battle of the Juniors follows on 8 February. The main championship events will occur from 20th to 23rd February at Dubai Festival City.

This renewed partnership aims to boost Dubai's status as a sports hub while promoting fitness and well-being through strategic teamwork and friendly competition.
