Dnata Awarded Multi-Year Inflight Catering Contract By Etihad Airways In Boston

In a significant development for the aviation and travel services sector, dnata, a prominent global air and travel services provider, has secured a multi-year contract with Etihad Airways in the United States. This partnership marks a pivotal moment as dnata will extend its quality inflight catering services to the Abu Dhabi-based airline, commencing operations from its Boston Logan Airport (BOS) facility.

Under this new agreement, dnata's skilled teams are set to produce and deliver over 125,000 meals each year, aiming to elevate the onboard dining experience for passengers on Etihad's four weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from 31st March 2024. Peter DeVito, Chief Executive Officer of dnata Catering North America, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the commitment to delivering superior culinary products that enhance the passenger experience.

With this partnership, dnata reaffirms its position as a key player in the inflight catering and retail services industry in the USA. Currently serving 40 airline customers across 12 airports with a robust team of over 1,000 hospitality professionals, dnata's impact is significant. Specifically, in Boston, the company managed to uplift 1.5 million meals for 8,000 individual flights at Boston Logan Airport during the financial year 2022-23.

With a workforce of 10,500 catering professionals, the company produces more than 110 million meals annually.
