Diriyah Achieves Guinness World Record With Largest Display Of AI Assistants On Saudi National Day
Diriyah achieved a Guinness World Record on Saudi National Day with the largest display of AI assistant devices. The event, part of Diriyah's 94th National Day celebrations, featured over 500 Amazon Echo devices and Alexa voice assistants. These devices played the Saudi national anthem and other patriotic songs at Bujairi Terrace in Diriyah, creating an immersive experience for visitors.
Officials from Guinness World Records were present to verify the achievement. Kanzy El Defrawy, Senior Adjudicator, stated, "Congratulations on achieving the Guinness World Records title for the Largest display of virtual assistant devices." This recognition highlights Diriyah's role in bringing innovative entertainment to Saudi Arabia.

Jerry Inzerillo, DGDA's chief executive, expressed pride in this milestone. He remarked that it showcases Saudi Arabia's innovative spirit and Diriyah's dedication to preserving its rich heritage. The event was a testament to the fusion of technology with cultural celebrations in the Kingdom.
Dr. Raf Fatani, Amazon MENA's regional general manager of Alexa, commented on their involvement. This collaboration highlighted how artificial intelligence can intertwine with Saudi culture.
