Diriyah Company Highlights Innovative Urban Development At World Economic Forum 2025 In Davos

Diriyah Company is making its debut at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in 2025, held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 20 to 24. The event's theme is "Collaboration for the Intelligent Age." This participation follows Diriyah's accreditation as an associate partner in 2024.

During the forum, Diriyah Company engaged in a significant session titled "New Horizons for Contemporary Urban Development" at the Saudi House pavilion. The discussion included Diriyah Company Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo and international experts like Nesma Partners' Rami Alturki and Zoom's Aparna Bawa. They explored future urban planning strategies, technology integration, collaborative initiatives, investment opportunities, and redefining city futures.

The session highlighted transforming historical sites into vibrant urban hubs, with Diriyah as a model of innovative development. Inzerillo stressed the importance of sharing Diriyah's story globally and emphasized smart development techniques and international investments to accelerate progress. He noted that the forum offers a unique platform to showcase Diriyah's role in creating sustainable urban spaces.

Diriyah Company is one of the major projects under the Public Investment Fund (PIF). It aims to transform the birthplace of the Saudi state into a modern city while preserving 300 years of history and heritage. The project will include over 40 luxury hotels, office spaces, cultural districts, sports facilities, and retail outlets for around 100,000 residents.

Talal Kensara, Diriyah Company's chief of strategic management, participated in a panel titled "Saudi Arabia's Untapped Investment Opportunities." This panel highlighted diverse investment prospects offered by the Diriyah project to global investors. By 2030, Diriyah is expected to attract 50 million visitors annually and contribute approximately $18.6 billion to Saudi Arabia's GDP.

The project's vision includes creating a modern city that embraces its rich history while offering world-class amenities. With its strategic location and historical significance, Diriyah aims to become a leading destination for tourists and investors alike.
