Diriyah Company Launches Third Edition Of Engineers Development Program For Saudi Graduates

Diriyah Company has introduced the third edition of the Diriyah Engineers Development Program (DEDP). This initiative aims to nurture Saudi graduates with engineering skills, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030's Human Capability Development goals. The program offers a year-long training journey that combines theoretical learning and practical experience, enhancing personal growth and professional skills.

The program is designed to empower participants to contribute significantly to Diriyah’s projects. Participants will receive mentorship from industry experts, equipping them with practical knowledge and skills necessary for future leadership roles in engineering. This reflects Diriyah Company’s dedication to investing in national talent and creating quality employment opportunities for Saudi youth.

Diriyah Launches Third Engineers Development Program

The DEDP provides a comprehensive training package, including professional writing, presentation techniques, data analysis, project management, financial analysis for non-financial professionals, strategic problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and operations management. Participants will develop a wide range of skills throughout the program.

This edition will train 40 promising engineers who are recent graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degrees from the Class of 2024 onwards. Applicants should have no more than six months of professional experience and must be proficient in both Arabic and English. Participation in cooperative training programs or university projects is also expected.

The program offers specialized full-time employment opportunities with a robust benefits package. Participants will join one of three key departments: Design and Development, Asset Management, or Technology Management. They will undergo high-level training through expert-led workshops and immersive learning experiences.

Under the guidance of distinguished professionals, participants will build technical, leadership, and personal skills. This initiative underscores Diriyah Company's commitment to enabling Saudi youth to play a fundamental role in developing the Diriyah project.

Program Success and Future Goals

The third DEDP builds on the success of its previous cohorts, which trained 48 engineers—14 in the first edition and 34 in the second. The program has attracted significant interest with over 37,000 applicants so far. It plays a crucial role in supporting Saudi Vision 2030 by contributing to national transformation efforts.

As part of this transformation, Diriyah Company aims to establish Diriyah as a world-class destination for tourism, heritage, and culture. Plans include constructing over 18,000 luxury residential units, more than 40 international hotels, iconic cultural landmarks, museums, educational institutions, and academies.

The company is also committed to creating office spaces for tens of thousands of professionals alongside vibrant artistic, cultural, sports, and entertainment zones. This comprehensive development plan highlights Diriyah's potential as a key player in Saudi Arabia's future growth.
