Diriyah Company Sets New Guinness World Record For Largest Construction Safety Lesson With 2,864 Participants
Diriyah Company has achieved a Guinness World Record for conducting the largest construction safety lesson. This event took place in Diriyah's Wadi Safar development, involving 2,864 workers. The record was set in partnership with Al-Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC). The certification ceremony occurred at Diriyah Company's head office on 14 April 2025.
The safety lesson lasted 30 minutes and was led by a single instructor. It focused on "Top Five Critical Safety Hazards in the Construction Industry." This session emphasised safe working practices and personal responsibility, highlighting key health and safety measures relevant to daily tasks on-site. It is part of a broader commitment to ongoing safety training.

Diriyah Company is committed to maintaining high safety standards across its construction sites. Regular training sessions are conducted for both internal teams and external contractors. The company has achieved a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.015 for ongoing infrastructure projects, showcasing its dedication to worker well-being.
A dedicated outdoor venue with a specially designed stage was constructed for the record attempt. This setup created an environment conducive to learning while supporting the official record attempt. A structured entry and exit system using special gates ensured accurate participation measurement, upholding the integrity of the record attempt.
Wadi Safar is one of Diriyah Company's masterplans, covering over 62 sq km. It offers exclusive residential options and internationally renowned hospitality, retail, and leisure venues. In July 2024, a $2.13 billion joint venture construction contract was awarded for developing the Royal Equestrian & Polo Club, Wadi Safar, and world-class hotels Aman Wadi Safar, Six Senses Wadi Safar, The Chedi Wadi Safar, and Faena Wadi Safar.
The prestigious Royal Golf Club, Wadi Safar, features a 27-hole signature championship golf course designed by golf legend Greg Norman. This exclusive sanctuary combines refinement and well-being with rich cultural heritage.
