DIHAD And Pakistan Association Dubai Collaborate On Sustainable Humanitarian Initiatives Through MoU

The DIHAD Sustainable Organisation and the Pakistan Association Dubai have formalised a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to foster sustainable humanitarian and healthcare initiatives within the UAE and beyond. The focus is shifting from emergency responses to a more development-oriented model, emphasising sustainability, education, and capacity-building.

The agreement outlines joint efforts in healthcare, education, and community development. It includes support for the Pakistan Medical Center by providing medical supplies and essential medicines. This support enables the centre to offer free healthcare services to patients of all nationalities residing in the UAE. Other initiatives will involve technical training, volunteer programmes, awareness sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance community resilience over time.

It operates the region’s first non-profit healthcare facility of its kind. Their work encompasses healthcare services, educational initiatives, and repatriation assistance for the community.

DIHAD’s global mission has reached over 22.9 million people across 197 countries through more than 967 partnerships and €1.4 billion in projects. The organisation also hosts international forums and has recently launched initiatives like a Smart Learning Room in Egypt. This partnership signifies a significant step towards sustainable humanitarian aid by integrating development-driven models into their strategies. By focusing on education and capacity-building alongside traditional aid methods, both organisations aim to create lasting positive changes in communities they serve.
