DIHAD Conference 2024 To Highlight The Role Of Humanitarian Diplomacy

The Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD) Conference & Exhibition, now in its 20th edition, is set to unfold on 23rd April 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, this event stands as a beacon for global humanitarian efforts. DIHAD 2024, themed "DIHAD 2004-2024: Humanitarian Diplomacy and a Journey to the Future," aims to reflect on two decades of humanitarian progress while setting the stage for future advancements. The Kingdom of Norway is celebrated as the guest of honor in recognition of its significant contributions to the humanitarian field.

With an anticipated attendance of over 16,000 participants from 154 countries, the conference and exhibition will serve as a melting pot for NGOs, charities, relief suppliers, and other key stakeholders in the humanitarian sector. Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organization, highlighted the conference's goal to foster enhanced cooperation and empathy towards global humanitarian issues.
