Digital Regulatory Academy Launches Training Program On AI's Role In The Digital Economy

The Digital Regulatory Academy (DRA) recently launched its first executive training program for 2025, focusing on the evolving landscape of digital regulations. Titled "Evolving Digital Regulations: AI’s Impact on the Digital Economy," this initiative seeks to enhance understanding of AI regulation and develop strategies that balance innovation with compliance.

Held in Paris, France, and Brussels, Belgium, the program attracted 19 leaders from MCIT+, including members of the National Regulations Committee and officials from telecommunications service providers. Over five days, participants explored key trends influencing digital economy regulation and artificial intelligence.

The training delved into establishing a regulatory framework for digital laws and policies. It also provided insights into regulatory foundations in Saudi Arabia and the European Union. Participants examined economic aspects of regulation and risks associated with AI, drawing lessons from various countries like the United States and China.
