Digital Government Forum 2025 Launches In Riyadh With Over 2,000 Participants And Key Insights
The fourth edition of the Digital Government Forum commenced in Riyadh, organised by the Digital Government Authority under the theme "Our Future is Now." This event gathered over 2,000 participants, including ministers, decision-makers, experts, and representatives from more than 100 technology and digital transformation companies.
Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan, Governor of the Digital Government Authority, highlighted in his opening speech that the forum underscores Saudi Arabia's dedication to digital transformation. He noted significant progress in global indicators due to government achievements. "The Kingdom is advancing toward an integrated digital future," he stated, emphasising innovation and artificial intelligence as crucial elements for enhancing government performance and services.

The forum's first day featured interactive workshops and sessions centred on innovation within government sectors. These discussions focused on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies aimed at improving services and user experiences. The event aims to boost efficiency across government, public, and private sectors through a unified digital ecosystem that consolidates work tools.
A key highlight was the announcement of the Digital Content Efficiency Index for 2025. This index achieved a score of 76.24%, reflecting a competent level across 250 government websites. Such metrics indicate progress in enhancing digital content quality within governmental platforms.
Awards were presented during the forum to honour recipients of the Digital Government Award 2025. Additionally, qualifiers for the Innovation Challenge Accelerator 2025 were recognised for their contributions to national digital transformation efforts. These accolades celebrate advancements made by individuals and organisations in driving digital change.
The forum will continue with leadership sessions and dialogues tomorrow. An exhibition will also take place, showcasing initiatives from over 40 government and private entities involved in digital transformation. These activities aim to foster collaboration and share insights into successful strategies for implementing digital solutions.
