Digital Government Authority Unveils Results Of 2025 Website And Digital Content Efficiency Index

The Digital Government Authority has revealed the 2025 Website and Digital Content Efficiency Index results. This year's index scored 76.24% at the "competent" level, an improvement from 71.40% at the "developed" level in 2024. The index evaluates 250 government websites, reflecting a commitment to enhancing digital presence and user experience, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030.

The announcement was made during the Digital Government Forum 2025 in Riyadh. The forum highlighted the top-performing government websites based on criteria such as clarity, recency, and accessibility of information. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to improve digital services and competitiveness among government entities.

2025 Website Efficiency Index Results Announced

The Human Resources Development Fund led with a score of 92.43%, closely followed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development at 92.41%. King Khalid University secured third place with a score of 92.37%, while Qassim University came fourth with 92.31%. These institutions have shown significant progress in their digital content efficiency.

In fifth place was the Saudi Water Authority, achieving a score of 92.02%. Visit Saudi ranked sixth with a score of 90.82%, demonstrating strong performance in digital content management. The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center followed in seventh place with a score of 90.71%.

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources achieved eighth place with a score of 90.02%. The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation was ninth with a score of 89.52%, while the Saudi Data and AI Authority rounded out the top ten with a score of 89.39%. These rankings illustrate ongoing efforts to enhance digital platforms across various sectors.

The Website and Digital Content Efficiency Index is one of four national indicators launched by the Digital Government Authority to promote digital transformation within government entities. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency and reliability of government websites as official sources for information and news.

This focus on digital transformation aligns with broader goals under Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to boost national identity through improved digital services. By enhancing website efficiency, these efforts contribute to making government websites more accessible and user-friendly for citizens.
