Saudi Arabia's Digital Experience Maturity Index Rises To 85.04% In 2024
The Digital Government Authority (DGA) revealed the findings of the Digital Experience Maturity Index 2024. The index achieved a notable score of 85.04%. This evaluation encompassed 39 digital platforms, assessed through four main perspectives and 20 themes.
The assessment included user satisfaction, with over 175,000 beneficiaries participating. It also evaluated user experience, complaint handling mechanisms, and the digital technologies enabling these platforms. DGA Governor Ahmed Alsuwaiyan highlighted that the index aims to enhance beneficiary satisfaction and align with global best practices.

Alsuwaiyan noted that the index aligns with strategic goals to improve Saudi Arabia's international rankings and speed up digital transformation. He emphasized that continuous improvement in the index results reflects significant efforts by Saudi agencies to develop their digital services.
The detailed results showcased the performance of the top ten platforms, all achieving advanced levels. Tawakkalna scored 91.29%, followed by the General Organization for Social Insurance at 91.18%, and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at 90.42%. Other high scorers included Absher at 90.39% and Ehsan at 90.27%.
Etimad scored 90.21%, Musaned achieved 87.28%, Qiwa reached 87.18%, Visit Saudi attained 86.21%, and Najiz scored 86.09%. These scores reflect substantial progress in enhancing digital experiences across various platforms.
Growth in Participation and Platform Evaluation
The number of platforms evaluated increased from 24 in 2023 to 39 in 2024, marking significant growth. Over 175,000 participants took part in this cycle's evaluation, surpassing the previous cycle's participation of 134,000.
The index saw a rise of 4.36% compared to its previous cycle, indicating ongoing improvements in digital service delivery. This progress contributes to better quality of life, streamlined business practices, enhanced competitiveness, and efficient government operations.
Ahmed Alsuwaiyan stated that these advancements underscore Saudi agencies' dedication to developing their digital platforms and services.
The DGA's efforts are geared towards improving user satisfaction and aligning with international standards for a superior digital experience.
