Diafat Al Madinah Association Delivers Essential Services To 1.7 Million Pilgrims

The Diafat Al Madinah Association has delivered over 1.7 million field services to pilgrims and visitors at various frequented sites during this year's Hajj season. The association, preparing to extend its services to visitors in Madinah post-Hajj, reported that these efforts included 720 volunteer hours from the first season of Hajj until Dhul-Hijjah 7.

Among the services provided, the volunteer work involved distributing 176,610 meals and 1.80 million bottles of water as part of the Soqia (distributing water) Program at dispatch centres. Additionally, 93,432 pilgrims benefited from the "Tirhab" (welcome) program, which is part of the association's reception initiatives for pilgrims.

The association also distributed over 10,000 umbrellas to pilgrims and visitors at service sites. Furthermore, 260 pilgrims received assistance through the "Kiswa" (clothing) program. The "Al-Mosanda" programs, aimed at supporting older people and those with disabilities, benefitted a total of 29,500 pilgrims.

In addition to these services, 674 pilgrims were assisted through the "Diwaniyah Diafa" (hospitality) program. The Diafat Al Madinah Association coordinates its services in partnership with relevant authorities to ensure comprehensive care for pilgrims.

These coordinated efforts include receiving pilgrims at arrival ports and pick-up centres, providing meals, guidance work, hospitality programs, welcoming and bidding farewell to pilgrims and visitors, and ensuring their overall welfare.
