Sheikh Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi highlighted the significance of this visit. He stated: "The CASS delegation’s visit marks a new chapter in the long-standing ties between the UAE and China, which dates back to the ancient Silk Road." This engagement underscores both nations' roles as leaders in sustainable development and innovation.

He further explained that this collaboration is part of DGR's efforts to enhance bilateral relations. A recent official visit to China involving 18 Sharjah government entities laid the groundwork for these strategic partnerships. These initiatives are positioning Sharjah as a global hub for cultural and economic exchange.

The focus on preserving cultural heritage was central to discussions during the delegation's visit. Both parties explored ways to enhance cultural and scientific cooperation between their respective institutions. This initiative aligns with Sharjah’s ongoing efforts to promote its rich cultural legacy on an international stage.

The meetings also provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss potential collaborations in various fields. By fostering such exchanges, they aim to strengthen ties and share knowledge that benefits both regions. This approach reflects UAE diplomacy's success in promoting international cooperation.

In wrapping up these discussions, it was evident that both parties are committed to building on their shared history. They aim to create new avenues for collaboration that benefit both nations culturally and economically. This partnership is expected to yield fruitful results in future engagements between UAE and China.
