DGR And Dutch Consulate Explore New Economic Cooperation Opportunities For Sharjah
Sharjah's Department of Government Relations (DGR) recently engaged with the Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to explore new avenues for economic collaboration. Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, DGR Chairman, welcomed Paul Jeroen, Consul General of the Netherlands in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The meeting included discussions on potential joint initiatives and partnerships aimed at enhancing cooperation between Sharjah and Dutch cities.
The discussions primarily revolved around economic and investment cooperation. Key topics included information exchange on business opportunities and a proposed joint event involving public and private sector representatives. The focus was on industry, energy, and creative sectors, aiming to foster mutual growth.

Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi highlighted the significance of such meetings in engaging with diplomatic missions and strengthening economic ties with the Netherlands. He noted that these high-level exchanges demonstrate Sharjah’s dedication to building effective partnerships. These visits aimed to highlight Sharjah's commitment to fostering a diverse and progressive business environment.
