DGR Delegation Engages In Talks With Omani Officials On Education And Cultural Heritage

A delegation led by the Department of Government Relations (DGR) in Sharjah recently completed a three-day visit to Oman, from 28-30 January 2025. The visit aimed to enhance cultural and educational ties between Omani institutions and Sharjah-based international organisations. Discussions focused on cultural heritage, education, and sharing expertise in heritage preservation.

During the visit, Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of DGR, led the delegation. Key members included Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child; Salem Omar Salem, Director of ICESCO's Regional Office in Sharjah; and Nasir Abdul Karim Al Darmaki, Deputy Director of ICCROM's Sharjah Regional Office. They engaged with Omani officials to discuss regional collaboration and shared challenges.
