DGR And Anwar Gargash Academy Formalise MoU To Advance Government Communication And Diplomacy
The Department of Government Relations (DGR) in Sharjah and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement, signed during the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) 2025, aims to boost collaboration in knowledge sharing, institutional expertise, and research. It also seeks to enhance coordination in government communication, diplomacy, and foreign policy.
Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of DGR, and Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director-General of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, formalised this partnership. The signing was witnessed by Omar Obaid Al Hassan Al Shamsi from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Asma Rashid Sultan Bin Taliah from The Sharjah Executive Council, Ahmed Hamad Rashid Matar Al Suwaidi from The Sharjah Executive Council, along with other representatives and media personnel.

Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri highlighted that this MoU represents a crucial step in expanding cooperation in training and capacity building. He emphasised its importance in diplomacy, government communication, and foreign policy. "We are confident that this partnership will contribute to preparing highly qualified national cadres," he stated. These efforts aim to equip individuals with the necessary skills to represent the UAE effectively on international platforms.
