DGHR Showcases Innovative AI-Powered Military Medical Committee System At GITEX Global 2025
The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) is showcasing its latest digital and AI-driven innovations in human resources management at GITEX Global 2025. This event is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13th to 17th October. DGHR is participating under the Digital Dubai umbrella, emphasising its commitment to improving institutional performance and service efficiency across Dubai’s government sector.
Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of DGHR, highlighted the department's dedication to speeding up the digital transformation of government HR systems. He noted that innovative AI solutions are crucial for enhancing sustainability, operational efficiency, and service quality. This aligns with Dubai’s vision to become one of the world’s most future-ready cities through advanced, data-driven HR transformation.

A key feature of DGHR’s presentation is the AI-powered Electronic Sick Leave and Medical Exemptions System. Developed in collaboration with the Digital Dubai Authority, this system automates medical committee requests for government entities with military functions. It aims to improve accuracy, transparency, and processing speed while reducing paperwork and human errors.
Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of the Digital Dubai Authority, praised this system as a model of intergovernmental collaboration. He stated that it reflects Dubai’s ambition to promote AI-driven governance and position itself among the top three global destinations for living and investment. The system includes an AI-powered digital assistant that aids medical committees in reviewing requests.
The DGHR's participation also highlights its role in empowering Emirati talent and enhancing the government work environment through smart solutions. These efforts align with Dubai’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy, further advancing the emirate's goal of achieving full digital transformation and a sustainable economy ready for the future.
An interactive decision-making dashboard complements the AI-powered digital assistant within the system. This feature streamlines operations by supporting medical committees in reviewing and approving requests efficiently. Such advancements underscore DGHR's commitment to leveraging technology for improved governance.
Through these initiatives, DGHR supports Dubai’s vision of becoming a leading city globally by embracing advanced technologies in human resources management. The focus on data-driven solutions aims to enhance service delivery across various sectors within the government.
