By enhancing coordination between DGDA and RIPC, the agreement seeks to uphold reliability for both residents and visitors. It aims to eliminate redundancies through integrated planning and execution while adhering to necessary regulations and standards. This approach is expected to streamline processes significantly.

The MoU also contributes to the urban development of Diriyah, covering 14 square kilometres. The area will accommodate nearly 100,000 residents with features like 40 renowned hotel brands, over 18,000 residential units inspired by Najdi architecture, nine museums, a university, and various cultural facilities.

This development is anticipated to create more than 178,000 direct jobs and attract around 50 million visits annually. By 2030, Diriyah aims to be one of the world's leading cultural and tourism destinations. The project aligns with DGDA’s efforts to make Diriyah a key historical landmark in Saudi Arabia.

Diriyah holds significant historical value as the capital of the First Saudi State. DGDA is dedicated to preserving its rich heritage through architecture, culture, arts, and knowledge. Their commitment ensures an immersive visitor experience that highlights Diriyah's importance as a cultural destination.
