DFF Celebrates Graduation Of 90 Exceptional Students From The Knowledge Society Dubai Programme
The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), in collaboration with The Knowledge Society (TKS), celebrated the graduation of the first group from the TKS Dubai Programme. This event, held at the Museum of the Future, highlighted innovations in AI, robotics, space technology, synthetic biology, and climate solutions. These projects illustrate how young people are not just preparing for the future but actively shaping it.
Over 10 months, 90 students from more than 60 schools developed innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges using advanced technologies. This effort further strengthens Dubai’s position as a global centre for innovation and talent development. The initiative operates in over 450 cities worldwide and equips students aged 13 to 17 with tools to become future scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

The programme simulates an intensive environment similar to leading tech companies. It connects young Emirati innovators with a global network of experts and mentors. Students also had opportunities to present their work to global tech companies and investors for potential investment. This aligns with Dubai’s vision to empower youth with skills to shape future industries and society.
During the ceremony, graduates showcased projects like wearable technology for AI-driven disease detection and digital brain twins for personalised neurological care. Other innovations included systems converting urban heat into cooling and electricity, quantum simulations for cancer treatment, and platforms transforming waste into clean energy. These projects demonstrate how youth-led innovations can address global challenges effectively.
Since its inception in 2016, the TKS Innovation Programme has trained over 4,500 students globally who have established startups valued collectively at over $250 million. Recognised as one of the world’s top accelerators, it draws on curricula developed with experts from Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. The programme replicates the culture of leading global tech communities.
In Dubai, this programme supports the city’s vision of becoming a global destination for emerging talent and future industries. It offers guidance from over 350 mentors from leading startups across 40 vital sectors such as clean energy and neurotechnology. Additionally, it enhances university admission prospects and provides internship opportunities with international organisations.
Commitment to Innovation
Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO at DFF, stated: "Empowering the next generation of innovators is central to Dubai’s future." He emphasised DFF's commitment through specialised programmes that help young talent turn ideas into reality on a global stage. "Dubai is known for its dynamic environment that supports youth," he added.
Navid Nathoo, CEO of TKS, remarked: "Together with Dubai Future Foundation, we’re building the region’s most ambitious youth ecosystem." He highlighted their role in shaping future industries and making Dubai a hub where young innovators come to change the world.
This initiative helps instil futures thinking at a young age by empowering students to become architects of a rapidly evolving world. By nurturing young leaders through partnerships like these, Dubai continues fostering a culture of innovation while highlighting promising ideas globally.
