DEWA To Highlight Digital Transformation At GITEX Global 2024

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will participate in the 44th GITEX Global, the world's largest technology and startups event. This event is scheduled from 14th to 18th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. DEWA’s stand will feature its innovative digital initiatives, services, and programmes that accelerate its digital transformation and consolidate its global leadership.

The stand will also highlight projects and solutions from Digital DEWA, DEWA's digital arm. These initiatives have positioned DEWA as the top digital utility worldwide. Additionally, projects from DEWA’s subsidiaries based on artificial intelligence (AI) will be showcased. These include Moro Hub (Data Hub Integrated Solutions), Digital X, and InfraX.

Al Tayer emphasised that every year they participate in this global event to highlight their advanced digital infrastructure. He noted their innovative services rely on the latest AI technologies to enhance stakeholders' quality of life and happiness while advancing sustainability and net-zero goals.

During the exhibition, DEWA will focus on continuous efforts to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global hub for shaping and designing the future. They aim to apply the best digital business models to make Dubai among the top 10 digital economies in the world according to the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
