DEWA Named Organising Partner For Dubai International Project Management Forum 2027-2029
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority have agreed a new sponsorship deal that extends their cooperation on the Dubai International Project Management Forum from 2027 to 2029, confirming DEWA as Organising Partner and reinforcing Dubai’s focus on project management and sustainable development leadership.
The agreement covers the 12th, 13th and 14th editions of the Dubai International Project Management Forum, and builds on a long-term institutional relationship between RTA and DEWA, which both describe as a key driver for strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for knowledge-sharing in complex project delivery.

Since its launch, the Dubai International Project Management Forum has drawn more than 17,000 attendees representing around 50 countries, and has held over 400 activities including keynote sessions, workshops, field visits and specialist training programmes, which together have supported professional capacity-building in project management disciplines.
RTA states that these past results helped the Dubai International Project Management Forum develop into an international reference point for exchanging project management knowledge, with its mix of technical sessions and practical visits helping participants review global practices in managing large infrastructure schemes and other strategic projects.
The new sponsorship agreement was signed by Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, and Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, setting out DEWA’s role as Organising Partner for every Dubai International Project Management Forum edition between 2027 and 2029.
Mattar Al Tayer highlighted the importance of the renewed cooperation around the Dubai International Project Management Forum, saying: "This partnership represents strategic dimension in the forum’s journey, as an international platform for exchanging expertise and shaping the future directions in delivering mega projects." "This partnership reflects the two entities’ shared belief in the importance of building an advanced knowledge ecosystem for project management that supports Dubai’s vision for global leadership," he added.
