DEWA Organises Second Cycle Of CleanTech Innovators Exhibition To Showcase Sustainable Technologies
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is hosting the second CleanTech Innovators Exhibition from 24 to 26 February 2025. This event is part of DEWA's involvement in 'UAE Innovates 2025'. The exhibition will display cutting-edge technologies and solutions aimed at fostering a sustainable future. It will also feature seminars with local and international experts sharing their insights.
CleanTech Innovators highlights the contributions of key figures in sustainability, including professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. The exhibition will focus on innovations in green hydrogen, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), solar energy, and energy storage technologies. These sectors are crucial in addressing climate change challenges.

According to Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, "The Sustainability and Innovation Centre plays a positive role in supporting DEWA's efforts to consolidate the UAE and Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation and innovators." He emphasised the importance of collaboration between government entities, private companies, investors, and start-ups to drive innovation towards achieving net-zero goals.
DEWA is enhancing its efforts during 'UAE Innovates 2025' to broaden the use of technology in clean energy sectors. The aim is to promote innovative practices that will lay the foundation for a more sustainable future. This initiative seeks to integrate technology into renewable energy practices effectively.
Waleed bin Salman, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Excellence at DEWA, stated: "The Sustainability and Innovation Centre is a global platform to learn about state-of-the-art clean and renewable energy innovations." He noted that the first cycle of CleanTech Innovators was successful in celebrating innovations that support sustainability across various sectors.
During 'UAE Innovates 2025', DEWA’s Sustainability and Innovation Centre will host several activities. These include the CleanTech Connect Programme featuring prominent speakers and the CleanTech Hackathon. These events aim to engage participants in discussions about advancing clean technology solutions.
The exhibition aims to strengthen cooperation between different stakeholders to encourage projects that accelerate energy transition efforts. By showcasing these advancements, DEWA hopes to inspire further innovation within the clean energy sector.
