The Hosted Buyers Forum is seen as a key platform for communication and collaboration in the food and beverage industry.
Launched during GFW in Abu Dhabi, this event attracted wide participation from top decision-makers and CEOs worldwide. The forum aims to enhance cooperation and expand trade exchange opportunities by facilitating meetings between suppliers and major buyers from sectors like aviation, industry, import-export, and logistics services.
The dedicated meeting lounge served as a central point for discussions and idea exchanges while private meeting rooms hosted detailed sessions on cooperation and expansion plans. Participants included top executives from the UAE, GCC countries, Asia, Europe, America, and Africa. This further cemented Abu Dhabi’s status as a global hub for collaboration in the food and beverage sector.
The previous edition of GFW saw deals worth around AED 6.2 billion over three days with more than 1,600 meetings between buyers and exhibitors globally. Several memoranda of understanding and agreements were also signed during that time. This confirmed the event's pivotal role in enhancing international cooperation and developing the global food sector.
