DCT Abu Dhabi Awarded Gold Trophy For CSR Initiatives At International Awards

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has received the Gold Trophy at the International CSR Excellence Awards 2024. This award highlights the success of DCT Abu Dhabi’s community initiatives and their impact both locally and globally.

Saeed Ali Obaid Al Fazari, Strategic Affairs Executive Director at DCT Abu Dhabi, stated, "Being recognised by the International CSR Excellence Awards is a testament to the success of our initiatives and emphasises our commitment to corporate social responsibility. Our mandate to enhance cultural and tourism development in Abu Dhabi requires that we nurture and protect and promote local community, culture, and enhance the ecosystems that make our Emirate competitively sustainable and an attractive destination to live, work and visit. DCT Abu Dhabi’s initiatives stood out among more than 500 other nominees. These programmes engaged over 2,200 volunteers who collectively contributed 23,534 hours of service. Their efforts benefited 150,000 individuals across Abu Dhabi's diverse communities.

DCT Abu Dhabi's dedication to sustainability is evident through its various impactful projects. These initiatives focus on environmental conservation, wildlife protection, community engagement, and heritage preservation. By integrating sustainability into its projects, DCT Abu Dhabi ensures responsible management of the emirate’s resources for future generations.
