Dar Global Donates AED 1 Million To Support Fathers' Endowment Campaign In UAE

Dar Global has pledged AED1 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. This campaign aims to honour fathers in the UAE by creating a sustainable fund for healthcare and treatment for those in need. The initiative is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).

The campaign encourages individuals to donate in their fathers' names, promoting values such as honouring parents, compassion, and solidarity. It also aims to reinforce the UAE's reputation as a leader in charitable and humanitarian efforts while establishing the concept of charitable endowments. Dar Global’s contribution is a part of this community-wide response.

Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, expressed that this campaign offers a meaningful way to honour fathers by supporting sustainable healthcare for those less fortunate. He highlighted that this reflects the UAE's deeply rooted humanitarian values. El Chaar stated, "It is an honour to contribute to this generous campaign and support the UAE's humanitarian and charitable initiatives that aid the poor and needy worldwide."

El Chaar further mentioned that their contribution demonstrates their commitment to social responsibility and eagerness to work with MBRGI to bring positive change to underserved communities. The campaign continues to welcome donations from both institutions and individuals through various channels.

Donations can be made through six main channels including the campaign’s website (Fathersfund.ae) and a dedicated call centre at 800 4999. Bank transfers in UAE dirham are accepted via Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201). SMS donations are possible by sending "Father" to specific numbers for different amounts: 1034 for AED10, 1035 for AED50, 1036 for AED100, and 1038 for AED500.

Etisalat by e& and du users can utilise these SMS options. Additionally, donations can be made through the DubaiNow app under the "Donations" tab or via Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae). These platforms provide convenient ways for people to contribute towards this noble cause.
