Danube Group's AED 10 Million Donation Boosts Mothers' Education Endowment

The Danube Group has recently made a significant contribution of AED 10 million to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. This campaign is dedicated to honouring mothers globally by establishing a AED 1 billion endowment fund aimed at supporting education in a sustainable way. The announcement was made during the holy month of Ramadan, a period that emphasizes giving and generosity within the UAE community.

Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, expressed his pride in contributing to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign. He highlighted the campaign's objective to support and empower mothers in the UAE, acknowledging their sacrifices and dedication that shape society. Sajan emphasized that this initiative not only honours mothers but also addresses the educational needs of underprivileged communities worldwide. He remarked on the significance of this contribution as it aligns with the values of honouring parents, kindness, compassion, and solidarity, further solidifying the UAE’s humanitarian role.

The proceeds from the Mothers’ Endowment campaign will be directed towards educational projects that aim to empower millions around the globe. How to Contribute

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign offers multiple channels for donations, making it accessible for both institutions and individuals to contribute. Donations can be made through the campaign’s website (Mothersfund.ae), a dedicated call centre via toll-free number (800 9999), bank transfers in UAE dirham to Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201), and SMS for Etisalat by e& users by sending "Mother" to numbers (1034, 1035, 1036, 1038). Additionally, contributions can be made via the DubaiNow app under the "Donations" tab and Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae).
