Efficient Customs Services For Hajj Pilgrims Across Saudi Ports

The Customs Authority staff at Saudi Arabia's land, sea, and airports are diligently working to assist pilgrims arriving for Hajj. Their focus is on efficiently managing customs services to ensure a smooth experience. The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has outlined its objectives for the Hajj season, aiming to facilitate entry procedures for pilgrims entering the Kingdom.

ZATCA aims to achieve practical cooperation and continuous coordination with relevant authorities. This collaborative effort is intended to provide unified services and integrated performance, ultimately enhancing the quality of services provided to the pilgrims. Significant preparations have been made to receive the pilgrims, including the capacity to process over 1,800 buses per day at land customs ports.

The authority has established more than 230 designated routes for buses and cars. Additionally, over 10 equipped model halls and more than 290 service counters have been set up to streamline customs procedures. ZATCA has placed a strong emphasis on leveraging advanced technologies at all its customs ports.
