The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chaired a virtual Cabinet session today. Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary stated that the Cabinet welcomed the outcomes of the second Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council meeting, which highlighted strong ties and a commitment to deepening cooperation across various sectors.
The Cabinet reviewed Saudi Arabia's participation in recent Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab League meetings. It expressed optimism for further collaboration within these frameworks. The Cabinet also praised the results of the 37th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting, noting that Saudi Arabia and seven other members' decision to extend voluntary production cuts aligns with efforts to maintain global oil market stability.
Marking World Environment Day on June 5, the Cabinet highlighted Saudi Arabia's leading role in environmental efforts and sustainable development. The Cabinet reviewed regional and international developments, reaffirming Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting international efforts for regional security and stability.
