Custodian Of The Two Holy Mosques’ Ramadan Programs Launched In Montenegro To Distribute Dates And Serve Iftar Meals
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through its Religious Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, recently organised a ceremony in Montenegro. This event marked the launch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift programs. These initiatives focus on distributing dates and providing Iftar meals during Ramadan 1446 AH in Podgorica, Montenegro's capital.
Attendees included Ahmed Al-Harbi, Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Albania, Nađa Laković, a Montenegrin Member of Parliament, and Zaid Al-Hamdan from the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom’s Embassy in Bosnia. Several officials from the Islamic Sheikhdom were also present. The event distributed 5 tons of dates, benefiting around 21,000 people.

Mufti of Podgorica Jamal Ahmed Rajab expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia's efforts to support Islam and assist Muslims during Ramadan. He thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for their annual contributions. The Mufti prayed for continued protection and prosperity for Saudi Arabia, its leaders, and its citizens.
The beneficiaries of this initiative also conveyed their appreciation for Saudi Arabia's ongoing generosity. They prayed for blessings upon the Kingdom and its leadership, wishing peace and prosperity for its people. This gesture has become a cherished tradition during Ramadan.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ programs have consistently provided aid to Muslims worldwide during Ramadan. This year's distribution in Montenegro is part of a broader effort to support communities in need.
