Custodian Of The Two Holy Mosques Launches 5th National Charity Campaign To Enhance Charitable Giving During Ramadan
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has given his approval for the launch of the 5th National Campaign for Charitable Work. This initiative began on Friday, March 7, through the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan). Donations will continue throughout Ramadan, aiming to boost charitable contributions and their impact.
The campaign underscores the dedication of King Salman and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to fostering charitable activities. It offers citizens and residents a chance to engage in acts of charity and enhance community solidarity during Ramadan, a period known for increased good deeds.

Majid Al-Kassabi, Chairman of Ehsan Platform's Supervisory Committee, expressed gratitude to King Salman and HRH the Crown Prince for their steadfast support since the platform's inception in 2021. He highlighted that this year's campaign builds on the success of previous editions. The most recent campaign in 2024 saw donations surpassing SAR 1.8 billion through 15 million transactions.
In previous campaigns, significant amounts were raised: over SAR 760 million in the third edition, more than SAR 750 million in the first edition, and exceeding SAR 800 million in the second edition. These figures reflect Saudi Arabia's leadership in charitable work and sustainable development.
The Ehsan platform was established by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) under a Royal decree. It is managed by a supervisory committee comprising 13 government agencies. This governance structure supports national efforts to digitally empower the charity sector.
Since its launch, Ehsan has received over SAR 9 billion in donations. These contributions have benefited more than 4.8 million individuals from various eligible groups. The platform reinforces Saudi Arabia's position as a leader in charitable giving.
Secure Donation Channels
Donors can contribute digitally to various charitable fields throughout the campaign. Donations can also be directed toward the Ehsan Endowment Fund. All transactions are securely processed via the Ehsan app, website (Ehsan.sa), or by calling 8001247000.
This campaign not only highlights generosity but also strengthens community unity during Ramadan. It provides an opportunity for everyone to participate in charitable acts while ensuring secure donation processes through digital platforms.
