Custodian Of The Two Holy Mosques Hosts 1,000 Palestinian Pilgrims To Support Families In Need
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has announced a significant initiative. He will sponsor 1,000 pilgrims from Palestinian families of martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded to perform Hajj this year, 1446 AH. This is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit.
Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of the program, expressed his gratitude for this generous gesture. He thanked both King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for their continued support. This initiative highlights the Kingdom's dedication to aiding Palestinians and fostering Islamic unity.

Al Alsheikh emphasized that this effort extends the leadership’s commitment to easing Hajj rituals for Palestinians. The ministry has already started implementing a detailed plan to ensure all necessary services are provided to these pilgrims. From their departure until their return home, they will receive comprehensive support during their stay in Makkah and Madinah.
Since its inception in 1417 AH, the program has hosted over 64,000 pilgrims from various nations. This reflects Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to serve Islam and Muslims globally. The initiative reinforces the Kingdom's role as a central figure in the Islamic world and as the Qibla for Muslims worldwide.
This year's initiative continues to strengthen bonds within the Muslim community by supporting those who have suffered due to conflict. It underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to humanitarian causes and its leadership in promoting Islamic solidarity.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is dedicated to ensuring that all logistical aspects are covered for these pilgrims. Their journey will be facilitated with care and attention to detail, ensuring a smooth pilgrimage experience.
This act of generosity by King Salman not only supports Palestinian families but also enhances Saudi Arabia's reputation as a leader in providing religious services and support to Muslims around the world.
