Culture Summit Abu Dhabi 2025 To Explore Culture For Humanity And Beyond
The Department of Culture and Tourism — Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has revealed the dates for the seventh edition of Culture Summit Abu Dhabi. This global forum will occur from 27th to 29th April 2025 at Manarat Al Saadiyat, located in the Saadiyat Cultural District, Abu Dhabi. The theme, "Culture for Humanity and Beyond," will delve into the evolving relationship between culture and humanity during a time of significant change.
Throughout three days, the summit will feature panels, creative discussions, case studies, artist talks, and workshops. Renowned artists, leaders, intellectuals, and creatives will share insights on reimagining the future as traditional ideas become outdated. The event aims to inspire a collective rethinking of human emancipation and humanism to establish a shared sustainable future.

The second day will focus on "the new frontiers of a post-human environment." As technology advances in AI, biotechnology, and environmental studies redefine humanity's essence, discussions will explore how culture can ensure these changes enhance human experiences. The programme will examine how cultural sectors adapt business models and policies to seize opportunities presented by these new frontiers.
On the first day, the sub-theme "reshaping the cultural landscape" will be addressed. With ongoing power shifts due to digital revolutions, economic inequality, and geopolitical instability, cultural identities are being redefined. Sessions will discuss how these changes impact culture's production and consumption while exploring the creative sector's role in guiding humanity through uncertainty towards a confident future.
The final day will focus on "new frames to redefine Culture for Humanity and Beyond." Sessions will explore innovative collaborations and 'glocal' approaches fostering resilience, inclusion, and sustainability. Discussions will also cover how cultural innovation and technology can reshape narratives to overcome global polarisation by creating new common ground.
Key global partners supporting this event include UNESCO, The Economist Impact, Google, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, Design Museum, and Recording Academy. Additional partners are Image Nation Abu Dhabi, International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies, Cultural Foundation, The National Club de Madrid among others.
