King Abdulaziz was an avid reader with a personal library exceeding 3,000 books, including rare editions. He had a particular interest in Arabic and Islamic law texts, often funding their printing and distributing them to libraries at no cost. This passion for literature underscored his commitment to spreading knowledge throughout the Kingdom.

In 1931, King Abdulaziz addressed students, stressing that knowledge without action is like a "tree without fruit."
