CST Governor Dr. Mohammed Altamimi Inspects Telecommunications Readiness For Hajj Pilgrims In Madinah

Dr. Mohammed Altamimi, Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), recently assessed the telecommunications and technology sector's readiness for the 1446 AH Hajj season in Madinah Region. His visit included key locations such as Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, the Prophet’s Mosque, and the Haramain High-Speed Railway station.

During his inspection, Dr. Altamimi evaluated the telecommunications service providers' sales centres at airport lounges designated for pilgrims. The aim was to ensure these centres are well-equipped to meet the needs of arriving pilgrims efficiently. This assessment is crucial for providing seamless services during their stay.

The CST governor also visited the Haramain High-Speed Railway station to review preparations for welcoming pilgrims. He focused on ensuring comprehensive telecommunications services are available across all station facilities, which is vital for maintaining connectivity and communication.

Dr. Altamimi examined the quality of telecommunications services within the Prophet’s Mosque courtyards and facilities.
