Saudi Crown Prince And Palestinian President Address Gaza Escalation

On a significant day marked by diplomatic engagements, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a pivotal meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. This meeting, conducted on the sidelines of the special World Economic Forum (WEF) gathering, underscored the pressing concerns in Gaza amidst military escalations that pose a threat to civilian lives and the broader stability of the region.

The discussions between Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President Mahmoud Abbas delved into the deteriorating conditions in Gaza. The Crown Prince articulated Saudi Arabia's proactive stance in collaborating with international and regional entities to cease the ongoing hostilities and prevent further turmoil in the region. He firmly voiced the Kingdom's opposition to the forced displacement of Palestinians and reiterated unwavering support for their quest for a dignified existence, fulfillment of their aspirations, and the realization of a just and enduring peace.

Talks on Gaza Between Saudi Prince, Abbas

The assembly was graced by notable figures including Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Adviser; Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance; Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, President of General Intelligence; and Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan and non-resident Ambassador to Palestine. Representing the Palestinian side were Majed Faraj, Head of the General Intelligence Service; Bassem Al-Agha, Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; along with several senior officials.

This meeting not only highlighted the critical issues facing Gaza but also showcased Saudi Arabia's active role in seeking solutions to halt further escalation and support the Palestinian people's rights. The presence of high-level officials from both sides underscored the importance of this dialogue in fostering peace and stability in the region.
