The museum spans 500,000 square metres and is located near the Giza Pyramids. It features twelve grand halls surrounded by landscaped gardens covering 120,000 square metres. The site displays thousands of artefacts from Egypt's history, ranging from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman era.
